Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2018 and welcome to my new website too.

I really felt I wanted to write this blog, following on from the video that we posted on our YouTube channel last week – New Year, New Thinking.
At this time of the year, we are all usually thinking about new years resolutions…what we do not always realise is that sometimes we can be putting ourselves under a lot of pressure to meet the unrealistic targets we set ourselves, which in turn can have a negative impact on our thinking.

A lot of us constantly find ourselves comparing our lives and achievements to others, this way of thinking can sometimes put a negative spin on our mindset and can even get us down. The thing is…. everyone is different, and we cannot always realistically all reach the same goal. Instead, set yourself a goal that is realistic for you to reach, after all, small steps made over time can move mountains.
This year, try and keep your mind healthy and happy:

  1. Do not put too much pressure on yourself
  2. Compliment yourself daily
  3. Congratulate yourself when you have achieved something
  4. Finally, be happy with you

I hope that 2018 will bring you mental health and happiness.
