I developed OCD following anorexia and had to do certain things in certain ways at certain times. It was a way of delaying eating when I look back. Lynn showed me so much love and support, she was kind and talked to me like I mattered and she really wanted me to get better. She helped me challenge timings, and repeated rituals and would always text me back if I was worried. Every other person I met through the illness in the NHS, doctors, counsellors etc were just doing a job, they were cold, miserable and didn’t really ever try to find out about the real me. Lynn really cared and made me feel like I had a voice and was supported, nothing was too much trouble. Lynn Crilly and her strength is the reason I am well, completely recovered, together with my family support and I will always be grateful that we found her. She is a very special person. My fairy godmother.
